Lynn ARTS - Art Explorers 6 - 12 year old during February Vacation
Each week offers children the opportunity to explore a variety of visual and performing arts
forms with activities ranging from puppet-making, print-making, painting, drawing,
mask-masking, to improvisational games, dance, script-writing, costume and prop design and
more! Each session culminates with a short performance and art exhibition. Our Art Explorer's
program is designed to encourage creative thinking and artistic exploration and to increase
self-confidence in a fun, safe environment! More information

Gelatin Printmaking is low tech, fun and fast. This class is for everyone. It is a wonderfully
experimental process that gives results that vary from the abstract to the photographic. We will
use “stamps” and “stencils” to work into the ink and create many images. This class will go
beyond the basics and include how to create strong ghost prints, how to scale down and create
ATC’s or cards, how to make the gelatin plate and possibly simple book making.
